Home / About the Foundation, Mission & Leadership
Omkar Foundation & Charitable Trust was established on October 12, 2015 with the noble mission of uplifting marginalized communities, rural families, and underprivileged sections of society. Initiated under the visionary leadership of Founder President Shri. Omkar Prashant Doke alongside devoted social workers, this initiative has grown into a statewide public movement creating tangible positive impact in thousands of lives.
Rather than temporary financial charity, the Foundation focuses on cultivating long-term self-reliance. Our core pillars encompass extensive native afforestation, watershed rejuvenation to protect future generations, universal education kits for underprivileged children, and complimentary quality healthcare for rural communities.
Over the past decade, the Foundation has successfully planted and sustained 50,000+ native trees and treated thousands of patients through 50+ comprehensive free medical, eye examination, and cataract surgery camps.
The foundational ideals and core values that steer every grassroots action of Omkar Foundation:
An empowered, enlightened society where every individual leads a healthy, educated, and dignified life in harmony with nature. A world where poverty never deprives a child of education or a vulnerable citizen of healthcare.
To foster active grassroots civic participation for native afforestation, complimentary rural healthcare camps, educational sponsorship for children, and rapid on-ground humanitarian relief during social emergencies.
Our respected trustees and mentors steering every strategic policy and grassroots initiative of the Foundation.
